Introducing Belt Loop Tape for Jeans

Jeans, now the hottest and fastest moving garment in the retail market, have been a focal point for our research, development, manufacture and marketing for the past few years. As this industry sector has grown, it has required more new ideas and solutions. One of the primary concerns voiced by retail managers is the lack of "rack appeal" of the garment. Retailers complain that the belt loops on the jeans begin to fray while the garment is still in the store (well before any washings had occurred). To answer this call to competitiveness, we have stepped forward with anti-fray products for denim belt-loops and fusible waistbands. DAWN Trading Company markets various products to solve this problem. The end result is a quality.

Our products are marketed under the Vilene® title and include fusible webs and films which, when inserted inside the belt loop and properly fused result in an anti-fray effect. These products are available in many widths and qualities to meet your continuing and ever changing needs.

We market fusible waistband products with specialized fusible coatings which allow for penetration into the denim. This also improves the garment's "rack appeal" and adds to your efficiency during garment production. Again these products are available in a variety of widths and qualities to meet your design requirements and production needs.

Embroidery is one of the many hottest new trends in the apparel industry. Dawn Trading has solutions for all aspects of the embroidery trade, with the highest quality embroidery backings and specialty products.

Dawn Trading offers both tear ways and cutaways for embroidery backing, all available in various weights and hands to meet your specific designs; stitch counts and finished garment shell fabrics. Our cutaway products provide uniformity and stability, eliminating puckering and thread-breaks, as well as permitting one-piece application. The tear away products provide equal stability and ease of tearing in all directions to allow for quick and clean production. All tear away and cutaway backings are available in roll form or in pre-cut sizes depending on your hoop size.

Sales and marketing of Embroidery Division products are handled from our special experts. This division focuses on meeting the special needs and requirements of smaller volume embroiderers.

We offer:

Tear away Interlinings: Wet laid non-woven, Stitch ‘n Tear interlinings for embroidery with good tear-away properties. Range is available 30 gms/40gms/50gms/60gms and 70gms in required widths.

Washaways: This is special embroidery interlining which can be tore and washed at normal temperature as well.

Hot Water Soluble: After embroidery it is soluble in hot water. We offer this quality in different weights.

Normal Water Soluble: A very special embroidery non-woven interlining in different weights, water soluble at low temperature, compact base structure; especially suitable for processing on industrial embroidery machines.
